Supermarine Spitfire was a British fighter designed by Reginald Joseph Mitchell in the 1930s. It is best known for its efforts during the Battle of Britain and was one of the most important aircraft of World War II. Something to look forward to!
The P-51 Mustang is one of the real classics of World War II. It was built as a hunt-, reconnaissance- and bomb aircraft. Its primary task was to escort and defend allied bombers on the way across Germany and back to England again. Of the approximately 16,000 Mustangs that were manufactured, nearly 300 Mustangs have been preserved today, but just over a hundred are counted as airworthy.
Maximum discipline, focus, confidence and teamwork skills are essential for success of the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team, for many known as the greatest aerobatic team in Europe. With one of the world’s greatest aerobatic airplanes they will perform a unforgettable airshow!
Flygfesten wants to highlight the benefit of airplanes/flying for the community. That’s why two aerial firefighters of the type AT-802 Fire Boss is booked for Flygfesten. After the bush fires of 2018, we are used to these aircrafts being used for firefighting in the forests. MSB, are providing the aircraft as a national reinforcement for the emergency services around the country. There is a total of 4 airplanes that is owned and operated by SAAB on behalf of MSB. The airplane can lift 3000 litres of water from lakes, rivers and coastal bays and release it during flight at low altitude over a fire. Come experience them in real life
